  4. No stallions allowed on the ride without special permission. ALL STALLIONS must be kept in a stud stall.
  5. Not responsible for accidents to man or beast.
  6. We reserve the right to reject any reservation.
  7. All camps must be quiet by midnight. No loud music or noises will be tolerated.
  8. NO DOGS ALLOWED in the campground in May, June, August, October, and November. If you plan to bring a dog in April, July, or September the animal must be on a leash at all times, including on the trails while you are riding; and will not be allowed inside any of our buildings including the arena.
  9. NO FOOD TO BE TAKEN FROM THE DINING HALL WITHOUT SPECIAL PERMISSION FROM OFFICE. A special pass will be given to each person who has permission to take food from the dining hall which will have to be presented at each meal.
  10. No motorcycles, ATV’s, bicycles, golf carts, Gators, Mules, etc. to be used inside our campground. You may leave them at the front gate. This includes bicycles for children as well as for adults. We will allow the use of golf carts or other such types of vehicle in the case of handicapped persons only! The operator must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years or older to operate the vehicle inside our campground!
  11. NO FEED, HAY, or BEDDING TO BE STORED IN STALLS. Stalls are for horses and mules only!
  12. EVERYONE IN OUR CAMP OR RIDING WITH US MUST BE REGISTERED. THIS MEANS THAT EVERYONE MUST HAVE EITHER AN ARMBAND ON OR BE REGISTERED AS A VISITOR AND HAVE A VISITOR’S PASS WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES.
  13. NO SWIMMING OR BATHING HORSES IN THE JACK’S FORK OR CURRENT RIVERS. This is a state law and will be enforced by the National Park Service and the Missouri Water Patrol.
  14. Please abide by all NO HORSE and NO TRESPASSING signs and please stay on the designated trails. We ride on private lands as well as public and there are some areas that the private landowners do not want us to ride in. They have marked these areas with signs, please do not abuse their generosity.
  15. We no longer allow the use of sawdust, as can be hauled from local sawmills, for stall bedding as it has become a breeding ground for flies. In order to control the fly population we must be able to clean the stalls after each ride and let them dry. The use of sawdust as bedding creates a breeding ground for flies because the sawdust never lets the ground inside the stalls dry out. Therefore, we no longer allow the use of sawdust. You may buy bedding at the front gate or bring your own. You may use straw, wood shavings or chips, or dried pellets.
  16. CROSS COUNTRY TRAIL RIDE LLC takes no responsibility for acts of god. We do not refund or credit for bad weather or unforeseen events caused by circumstances beyond our control. We make every effort to keep our guests well informed in the event of bad weather, but cannot be held responsible for it.
  17. Manure cleaned from stalls must be placed in the nearest manure storage shed. You may not leave manure pile outside your stalls effective January 1, 2004.
  18. Manure left on the campground by animals not in a stall (i.e. at horse wash, farrier, vet shack, at trailers in campsties, etc.) must be removed by the end of the day and placed in a designated container. In the event of rain, immediately removing any manure from these areas and placing it in a designated storage container will be appreciated.
  19. Horses may be tied at your campsite for the length of time it takes to groom and saddle. You may not leave animals tied at your campsite for extended periods of time.
  20. Horses may be bathed at the horse wash only effective January 1, 2005. You may no longer bathe your horses at your campsite or barn as mandated by the State of Missouri. Please help us cooperate with state regulations by following this rule.
  21. There will be no tampering with or otherwise altering the electrical boxes in our campground. Anyone caught altering an electrical outlet will be asked to pack and leave immediately with no refund being given. This is a serious hazard to the person altering the box as well as to those camped around him! We will have a ZERO tolerance policy to activity of this type!
