STATE REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR ANIMALS
The state of Missouri requires every horse and mule
traveling in Missouri to have a current NEGATIVE COGGINS
TEST to travel legally. Missouri requires that a coggins
test be run annually to be current. You will be asked to show
these papers upon entering our grounds and before you will be
allowed to register. This is a state
law and is strictly enforced by Cross Country Trail Ride.
Out of state animals will also need an official 30 day
health certificate which will need to be filled out by your veterinarian
to cover your stay in Missouri and your trip home (approx.
2 weeks prior to entering Missouri).
STALLS
We have 2,991 barn stalls available to rent. The barn stalls
are 7x10, covered, with a gate and a feed box. We
require the use of stalls and do not allow picket lines, panels,
or pens of any type. We no longer have outside stalls
available. Stalls may be reserved for the use of animals only;
we do not allow you to use stalls to
store extra hay, grain, bedding, or tack. The
stall fees are $15 per stall which covers the length of your stay.
THE TRAILS (Please click
here to view our trail map)
Our trails consist mostly of old logging roads through
some of the most scenic country in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.
They will take riders across the Jacks Fork and Current
Rivers which are known throughout the country as two of the most
pristine and scenic rivers in the United States. They are well
cut, but the terrain is rocky and very hilly; your horses will
require shoes. Even the most inexperienced rider can
ride the trails without danger of injury.

the end of the event, but we cannot allow you to stay longer as
we are preparing for the next group that we have scheduled!

All of these motels are nice, clean, and the staff is very friendly.
