Late spring in the Ozarks is unsurpassed in the way of scenic views. While April is the beginning of our flowering season, May is when everything else begins to wake up as well. The trees are leafed out, grass is greening up, and spring wildflowers are starting to bloom. A ride through the forested hills or along the banks of the Jacks Fork or Current rivers is a breathtaking sight to behold. Temperatures are perfect for trail riding and it is sometimes warm enough for a swim also. This event hosts an attendance of 1,000 to 1,200 guests, which leaves plenty of space for newcomers. Reservations are not required, but are suggested although we don't normally fill up. The admission for the week is $220 per adult, $180 per child(6-11), $85 per child(3-5), and $10 per child(2 & under). Stalls are mandatory and rent for $15 each per week. The required deposit for reservations is $15 per stall, $5 per campsite, and a $50 reservation fee which will need to be mailed in to the address shown below. Your admission includes 3 meals per day beginning Sunday morning and ending Friday evening, camping with electric and water hookup, and admission to all scheduled entertainment. Scheduled activities include dances nightly with music provided by Jonesey, a concert by RONNIE MCDOWELL, a horse show, a horse and tack sale, and daily organized trail rides. We welcome you to ride on your own at any time, but organized trail rides will be provided if you prefer to have a guide. For those of you who enjoy a longer ride each day we offer lunch out on the trail. Our chuck wagon will be going out on Monday through Thursday to provide lunch for any all day riders. If you're riding on your own just make sure you get on the lunch count each morning. Half day riders will be back in camp for lunch. So if you're interested in a perfect trail riding environment this would be the event you are looking for! You may arrive as early as April 26, 2008 at no extra charge. However, you will need to plan on providing your own meals until May 4gh. Space is still available, so give us a call or send in your deposit to make reservations today.
