This event is a great way to start off a year of trail
riding. The spring of the year in the Ozarks is absolutely beautiful. Temperatures
are excellent for outdoor activities and the scenery is remarkable. The dogwood
and redbud trees are normally near their peak for the season, which offers
an outstanding background for trail riding. Wildlife is also waking up, giving
riders a ch
ance
to see young deer and turkey while traversing the Ozark hills or crossing
the crystal clear waters of the Jacks Fork and Current rivers on horseback.
This event is relatively new so we expect to have a small group in attendance,
probably 150 to 200 guests. We are not accepting reservations in advance.
Camping and stalls are available on a first come
basis only. The admission for the week is $220 per adult, $180 per child(6-11),
$85 per child(3-5), and $10 per child(2 & under). Stalls are mandatory
and rent for $15 per week. Admission includes 3 meals per day beginning Sunday
morning and ending Friday evening, camping with electric and water hookup,
and admission to all scheduled entertainment including the bluegrass festival.
Meals will be served in the restaurant and dances will be held in the dining
hall Monday through Thursday evenings with music provided by our house band,
Jonesey. In addition to a week of trail riding we are also offering a Bluegrass
Festival on April 11th. Shows begin at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available to
the public at the gate. The cost is $20 per person. Camping is available at
a fee of $25 per camper for the weekend beginning April 11, 2008 after 1:00
p.m. You may plan to arrive as early as March 29th at no extra charge. Shows
will be held inside the arena and you will need to provide your own seating.
